When and how did you start practicing yoga?
I started practicing yoga about 17 years ago.  It was a balancing practice for my busy life of working full time and raising two boys.

How has it helped you grow as a person?
Yoga has helped every aspect of my life.  It is the spiritual practice that I fully embrace, the physical practice that helps keeps my body healthy, and everyday guidance on how to live life contently.

What should students expect from your class?
My Yin classes will be an opportunity for students to turn within and accept themselves as they are.  Poses will be held for extended periods of time to enhance the physical benefits of a Yin class as well as the spiritual and mental benefits. Expect long periods of quiet and minimal distractions.

Be Yoga has a number of class styles. Which is your favorite, and why?
I love all yoga and have enjoyed most styles offered at Be Yoga.  My favorite classes are the ones where the teacher is uniquely themselves.

What do you like to do when you’re not doing Yoga?
I have so many hobbies and wake up every day to embrace whatever comes up.  My animals, goats, chickens and dogs, bring me so much joy.  I also love gardening, knitting, and beading.
