Tracy Mott (RYT) began practicing Anusara Yoga in 2005, shortly after moving to Charlotte. As a new yoga practitioner and an elementary school teacher, she often found herself sharing the insights and inspiration she was learning in yoga class with her young students. It was the kids’ enthusiasm about these teachings and the clear benefits they were providing that inspired Tracy to seek out a way to bring these two worlds together.

She is delighted about the opportunity the Grounded Program has created here in Charlotte, allowing her to unite her two loves, yoga and children. Tracy’s Master’s in Education and years of teaching students and mentoring teachers provide a great foundation for her to share this practice.

Tracy completed her 200-hour teacher training with Certified Anusara teachers Sarah Faircloth, Kelley Gardner and Stacey Millner-Collins. She has also completed her Grounded Yoga Teacher Training with Anusara-inspired teachers Cheryl Crawford and Amy Haysman. She currently teaches at Be Yoga Family. When she is not in a Yoga class or a workshop with one of her beloved teachers, Tracy can be found hiking, biking, and dancing to live music with her husband Joe, and her kids Etta and Kiernan.

Tracy Mott was amazing with our families. We are looking forward to planning more events for our support group of families with life threatening allergies.
