When and how did you start practicing yoga?
I started practicing yoga when I was in middle school and continued for 9 years. yoga found me in 2014 again

How has it helped you grow as a person?
Yoga has changed the way I see things and handle situations in life. It has helped me to calm down a lot , in my travel inward and my spirituality

What should students expect from your class?
Students will have an opportunity to learn and rediscover about themselves which would help them to take their practice to the next level not just the physical asana practice but their spiritual practice as well. They will also learn how to balance the opposites like for example how to struggle in a pose and at the same time how to surrender.

Be Yoga has a number of class styles. Which is your favorite, and why?
Universal Yoga, because it addresses not just the physical aspect but energetic and emotional aspect as well.  It is through Universal yoga classes I’m learning to balance the body breath and mind which I would love to offer my students.

What do you like to do when you’re not doing Yoga?
Cooking. It is my passion and I strongly believe the spice cabinet is the best medicine available. Being brought up in India my cooking is mostly ayurveda based and I conduct cooking classes where I teach people to cook Indian food and also ayurvedic cooking.
